Today it was a very long day. Whole day I was busy in completing my office task on time. I didn’t get time to take rest, so now I am totally tired. I don’t have that much capacity to cook food for myself. I even don’t want to order food from outside because it is not good for my health. Now what to eat. I can’t wait long because I am hungry. So now it’s time to look up for a recipe which I can make easily and quickly. The recipe should freshen up your mood and should make you feel happy.
Initially I think I should check my fridge that what is there in it and yes I got the success. I found soaked sago (sabudana). Now I knew what is there in your mind to prepare easy and simple sabudana khichadi. But I want to eat something spicy so a big NO to sabudana khichadi. So let’s search for new and spicy recipe of sabudana and guess what I found it. The photo of recipe is looking so yummy that now I want to prepare this only. The recipe is Sabudana Balls.
SABUDANA
After listening, you are little bit confused as sabudana is used in fasting, yet it is not compulsory but we believe that on some special days like Ekadashi, Navratri, or Mahashivratri we consume sabudana. People consider sabudana as energy-boosting dish consumed during fasts. Sabudana is very light, easy to digest and prevents constipation. It is healthy and delicious dish. I got the recipe from dailyhealthnews.in and now I am ready to prepare it.
Sabudana Balls
Ingredients Required:
- 1 cup soaked sabudana
- 1 cup boiled potatoes
- 1 big spoon crushed peanuts
- 2 big spoon chopped coriander
- 1 big spoon semolina (sooji)
- 1 big spoon cornflour
- Salt to taste
- 1 spoon chilli Oil
Ingredients to prepare Sauce:
- 1 spoon chilli Oil
- 1 spoon chopped Garlic
- 1 spoon soya sauce
- 1½ spoon white vinegar
- 2 spoon Ketchup

How to prepare:
Step 1): Take a big bowl and mix sabudana, potato, peanuts, coriander, semolina, cornflour, salt and chilli oil. Now mix all well and prepare like a dough.
Step 2): Divide the dough into small parts and prepare mini balls from it. Keep the balls separately for 15 minutes.
Step 3): Now take a small non-stick fry pan and put oil into it. Now deep fry mini sabudana balls on low flame until it changes the color and become crispy.
Step 4): To prepare sauce take another fry pan and put chilli oil into it. Mix garlic and leave it for one minute.
Step 5): Mix soya sauce, white vinegar and ketchup in the sauce and let it cook on low flame.
Step 6): Now mix sabudana balls into sauce and mix it well. No ball should be left uncovered with sauce.
Step 7): Serve sabudana balls with coriander leaves and green chutney.
